The plenary address will be given by J. Gordon Melton.

The conference will be open to the public. Light refreshments will be available at the site, and the annual Regional Banquet will be held on Saturday evening.

The hotel website includes photographs and a map. The rate for the conference will be $99 per day single or double, or $109 per day for triple or quad for Friday and Saturday nights. The hotel includes "a delicious, complimentary, cooked-to-order breakfast" in its rates. To make reservations, call (813) 977-7066, ext. 3030. The Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center is located on the University of South Florida campus (campus map). In addition to Embassy Suites, there are other chain hotels in the vicinity, including La Quinta Inn and Suites, across the street. If contacting national offices for the nearest location to the site, use the University of South Florida (Tampa Campus) or Busch Gardens as location references. Busch Gardens is about three miles south of the site.

The conference hotel is located at 3705 Spectrum Blvd., at the corner of Spectrum Blvd. and Fowler Ave. It is an unmistakable landmark, just West of the main entrance to the University of South Florida. It is roughly half way between Interstate 275 and Interstate 75 on Fowler--a little more than two miles from either interstate exit. If you are traveling to the site on I-75, exit West on Fowler. f you are traveling to the site on I-275 (which would be from Tampa International Airport), exit East on Fowler.

The banquet menu includes sauted breast of chicken, pecan crusted grouper, and vegetarian. Please express your preference when registering.
