FINANCIAL VISION 2006

Knowing that our intention is to follow the vision given through us as Spirit, at Unity Church of Bozeman we prayerfully consider how we will spend every dollar received.  Looking to the coming year, our process is one of envisioning how best to serve the needs of the congregation, we then put a dollar amount on those activities.  Then, using past history and an estimate of the congregation growth in numbers and consciousness, we estimate the amount of income we can expect for the coming year.  If the cost of activities exceeds the amount of income, some of the projected activities are put on ‘Hold”.  We know we are NOT limited by a “budget”.  Our financial vision flows from what Spirit calls us to do.  After prayerfully going through this process, we present you with a financial vision for 2006.

UNITED IN PRAYER, WE HOLD THESE VISIONS FOR 2006:

We continue to open our doors and hearts to spiritual seekers, eagerly welcoming and nurturing every one.

We are passionate about adult and youth spiritual education, including small group ministries that bring people together in spiritual community to study and practice spiritual principles.

We are expanding our Pastoral care and Chaplain program, serving the needs of our members and community.  This includes participation in a new inter-denominational service for homeless families as a support ministry.

We are continuing to gather the information necessary to establish an e-mail communication tree, and to provide the newsletter on-line.

We encourage developing volunteer ministries through which congregants can contribute according to their own spiritual gifts (e.g., youth ministry, lay chaplain ministry, technical support ministry, hospitality ministry, music ministry).

 2006 FINANCIAL VISION

Basic operational expense projection:   $66,000.00.   This figure includes our funding of existing personnel, facilities, and programs.

Envisioning our impulse to prosper:   $10,000.00.  Some of the projects that this amount would make possible.  Painting the nursery room with the veil painting method as done in the Sunday School room.  Establishing a radio media outreach program with 30 second and/or one minute inspirational spots provided by the Association of Unity Churches.  Create a support program for a new international Unity church in another country.  Expand our Daily Word ministry to more nursing homes and correctional facilities.  Complete our payment of the Field Licensing Program expenses.

We know that Spirit brings forth all that we are ready to manifest, and so we give thanks for everything made possible, today and tomorrow.
