I live in Tulsa Oklahoma,
right in the center of the USA. I am married to Jeloria
and have a son Alfie as well as two grown children, Anaxim
and Tisha. And let's not forget our Cairn terrier,
(Toto-dog, for you Oz fans), Pepper, who was born on
Christmas day.
I am in the computer software
business, and have been since 1975. I started programming
when I was 16, using punched cards. I have about 20
employees in four offices around the US. I have a BA in
Philosophy/Religion and Psychology with a concentration in
Computers from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL. I
grew up in DeWitt, NY, outside Syracuse.
I have been studying metaphysics,
Christianity, and Zen for a long time. My favorite books
are Matthew and Luke; Tao Te Ching and Chuang
Tzu The Inner Chapters, both translated by Fu Feng and
English; Dream Conversations translated by Thomas Cleary
(anything translated by Cleary is excellent). Of
course I like Charles and Myrtle Fillmore's
works. I also like Working With God, by Gardner
Hunting. In science fiction, the Lens of the World series
is good; Ender's Game is excellent. In
poetry, I have a collection of Edgar Guest (he is often
quoted as 'Anonymous' in Dear Abby).
Last year I sent the Charles
Fillmore books off to be keypunched, which led me to establish
the Unity on the Web home page. I am hoping to add a lot more
material soon.
Here are some writings I did
mainly for classes I was teaching or taking: Writings by Brad Jensen in English, Russian
and Spanish.
