Christine MacLennan

Christine MacLennan is the spiritual leader of "Unity Spiritual Enrichment Center".

She says " I am so truly blessed to be able to contribute my energy in helping to make a difference in the healing of the world. It all starts within.

I never claim to be any kind of authority, but rather I just share what works for me as I travel along my spiritual path. Personal transformation has seemed to be the theme for my life. Overcoming adversity through the recognition that we have an awesome God and we live in a universe that is emersed in the energy of love. And this energy of love always brings us back to the awareness that there is no situation, no circumstance, no person, and nothing can ever diminish us, or change our essence.

Unity believes that human beings create their experience by the activity of their thinking. Everything in our lives has its beginnings in thought. So, changing old thought patterns and attitudes is the path to reclaiming one's true identity. We have been given free will, and we can choose to focus on the level of the problem or we can choose to focus on the level of the solution. When we place our awareness on God, on this loving energy, we are lifted up into the level of the solution. If we focus on hate, hate expands. If we focus on Lack, Lack expands. If you focus on love, love expands. You get to choose. Your life is your attention, so you we better pay attention to our thoughts.

We teach best what, we ourselves, need to learn. Although I am trained in Unity, I teach with a Science of Mind and Course in Miracles flair. I source my teachings from any number of authentic spiritual resources, the masters: Jesus, Buddha, Saints, and Sages. I also value many of our contemporary writers: Deepok Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Carolyn Myss, Marianne Willamson, and Gary Zakau just to name a few. As well as many of the great contributors over history: Emerson, Einstein, and of course Earnest Holes and cofounders of Unity, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore.

I strongly agree with Charles fillmore when he wrote " Beware of the circumscribed idea of God! Always provide for an increase in your concept. Don't write down any laws governing your conduct or your religious beliefs. be free to grow and expand. What you think today will not be the measure for your thought tomorrow.

The Fillmores wrote, "The first step is to grant all people entire freedom to follow their own understanding no matter how wrong they may appear to us. If they will listen we may express our ideas, but further than that we should not go. They should feel free to accept or to reject as seems good to them."

They knew , as I do, that the nature of our understanding of Truth is an evolutionary process, and our minds remain open in order to evolve into the fullness of our being. We all have an inner teacher. I like how Aldous Huxley referred to it as the Perennial Philosophy, it is innate in all of us. It is springing up from within.

Unity Spiritual Enrichment Center is here to serve you, as you naturally unfold into your own spiritual understanding.
