The Youth of Unity is an international organization for youth ages 14-18 (grades 9-12). The purpose of YOU is to facilitate a safe, fun, and loving environment for youth to explore and discuss their spirituality. YOU provides youth the opportunity to explore Unity's Principles and other truth teachings and to demonstrate these in their Unity centers, local community, and daily lives.
Locally, any Unity church affiliated with the Association of Unity Churches may facilitate and sponsor a YOU chapter, usually meeting on a weekly basis. In chapters, youth discuss and learn a variety of spiritual teachings, attend social gatherings, and become involved in their church and community. Officers or a leadership team are often elected to explore personal leadership abilities and their utilization in our daily lives.
Many chapters within geographical regions come together throughout the year for rallies, retreats, and service projects that are sponsored and hosted by chapters within the region or the region itself. These events encourage fellowship as well as the sharing of ideas and experiences in the framework of Unity principles. Workshops are held, guest speakers share their wisdom, and family groups discuss personal applications of truth principles. Regional Representatives are elected yearly as they help shape the YOU experience on a regional level through the coordination and planning of rallies, Leadership events, lock-ins, sub-regional activities, fund-raisers, and service projects.

Every year in early August, a weekly International Conference is held on the grounds of Unity Village, Missouri. Delegates from chapters around the world, international participants attending through the Peace by Piece Program, and Regional Representatives come together for a full week of fellowship, spiritual exploration, and the election of International Officers. International Officers spend an entire year planning and coordinating this Conference. Guest speakers, workshops, a spirit sharing, musical concerts, an official business meeting, officer election and installation, various social activities, and free time fill the week's schedule. Delegates often gather a sense of the history of the Unity movement and its present day operations being on the 1800 acre incorporated headquarters of the Unity School of Religious Studies.
