Rev. Roy Ayers and his wife, Rev. Julie Montague, have three grown children and three grandchildren. Both Roy and Julie are ordained Unity ministers. Rev. Julie Montague is the minister of Unity of the Valley in White Rock, British Columbia.

Reverend Roy Ayers has served in Unity ministries in Detroit, Port Huron, and Bay City, Michigan, and Christ Unity Church, North Kansas City, Missouri. Roy had his own realty business for fifteen years prior to entering the ministry. Roy completed studies at Unity School of Religious Studies in 1984. His hobbies are ice hockey, golf, and music. Roy has a passion for teaching Unity principles, playing music and writing spiritual songs. He is a student of A Course in Miracles.
