This month the movie is a feature length documentary that follows a 28 year old African American—David Wilson—as he travels into his family’s past which turns out to be both black and white. The result is a powerful family reunion at the North Carolina plantation where this American saga began.

The theme for the 2008 Lyceum at Unity Village is “Culturally Christian, Spiritually Unlimited.” The date
s are November 3-6, 2008 with Bishop John Shelby Spong as one of the guest speakers.
He will be speaking on the topic, “Beyond Christian Limits, but not Beyond Christianity.” Many individuals have indicated a desire to go to Unity Village. This would be a great occasion for a group to attend together. If you are interested, please call 425-4401 or see Rev. Joy.

fifteen viewers. Some laughter and tears.
